ANNOUNCEMENT:
I know many of you are aware that there will be no football games this fall, but I wanted you to know that we ARE still going ahead with our marching band camp, as well as rehearsals when school starts. Rehearsals will be a bit modified from previous years in order to comply with all Covid-related safety guidelines.
Marching band will be 100% optional this year. If you decide to opt out of marching band for now, you will be welcome back at any point, and if we are allowed to play at football games in the Spring, you will still be welcome to join then.
Hope to see you on the 8th!

Cary-Grove Marching Band information for 2020
Note: All times and dates are tentative and subject to change, as we adapt to new regulations, requirements, etc., but as of July 29, 2020, here is our current plan:
- Marching Band camp will be on Saturday, August 8th, and Saturday, August 15th. Woodwinds will report by 10 a.m. and rehearse until noon. Brass will report by 1:00 p.m. and rehearse until 3:00 p.m. Please bring a flip folder for music, a water bottle, comfortable athletic shoes (avoid flip flops or sandals), sunscreen, etc. as needed. We will be following all social distancing and safety guidelines during all rehearsals. This means all students will need to wear a mask as they enter/leave rehearsals, as well as anytime they’re not playing.
- Drumline will rehearse on Tuesday 8/4 and Thursday 8/ 6 from 3:30 to 6 pm. ALL percussionists should attend if possible!
- ALL participants in marching band must fill out this waiver and bring it with them on the first day of camp:
- Once school begins, we will rehearse on Mondays after school from 3:00 - 4:00. Only the students who are in school that day should come to rehearsal, so every student will rehearse every other week.
Remember to sign up for our Remind service, to get all the latest news, weather updates, cancellations, etc.
